Can a locksmith make a replacement key for my Tesla?
Partly — Tesla credential pairing runs through the vehicle and Tesla's systems, not traditional programming. Call anyway: for lockout edge cases and access problems we can often help, and the consult costs nothing.
Do I have to tow my Tesla to a dealer?
Usually not — we come to the vehicle and handle cutting and programming on-site for most Tesla models. For the few exceptions, we tell you on the phone before you spend anything.
