Our van runs these roads every day — Highway 89 to Tahoe City and the West Shore, 267 over Brockway Summit to Kings Beach and Incline Village, and old Highway 40 up the grade to Donner Summit. Winter storms can slow the far edges of the map; we’ll always tell you honestly what’s reachable today.

Our home base. Lightning Lock & Key has been headquartered in Truckee since 1996 — when you call, you're calling a neighbor, not a national dispatch center.
North & West Shore
From Kings Beach around to Tahoma, the North and West Shore mix year-round homes, cabins and some of the busiest vacation rentals in the Sierra. We're over the hill on Highway 267 or 89 — roughly 20 to 35 minutes depending on the town and the weather.
