What makes one deadbolt better than another?
Independent grading (ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 is strongest), a full 1-inch bolt throw, and — just as important — a strike plate screwed into the framing. We install the whole system, not just the shiny part.
My door doesn't have a deadbolt at all. Can you add one?
Yes — we bore the door properly, mortise the strike, and match the finish to your existing hardware. It's a standard visit.
Will it still throw smoothly when the door swells in winter?
