Does a safe really need to be bolted down?
Under about 750 pounds, absolutely — otherwise it can leave with the burglars. Anchoring is most of the security and it's included in our installation.
Can you get a safe into a second-floor closet or downstairs?
Usually — we assess access and floor load first and tell you honestly what's feasible. Steep, snowy driveways are our normal operating conditions.
I haven't bought the safe yet. Can you advise first?
Please do call first — we sell safes too, and even if you buy elsewhere we'll steer you on size (bigger than you think) and ratings so you only do this once.
