Keypad or smart lock — which should I get?
If you want remote control and per-stay codes for rentals, smart. If you want simple code access with less to maintain, keypad — and mechanical push-button models need no power at all. We install all three and will match one to how you actually use the door.
What happens when the batteries die?
Good keypads warn you for weeks, and we always key the mechanical override into your house key. The mechanical push-button models sidestep the question entirely.
Can each person have their own code?
On electronic models, yes — and deleting one person's code doesn't disturb anyone else's. Perfect for cleaners and contractors.
